Todd’s Top Ten – A crowd pitch competition Sponsored by Todd Pedersen, founder and CEO of Vivint May 9, 2013 at noon at Zion’s Bank at 180 North University Ave. Ste. 800, Provo, UT in the Rock Canyon Room Ten companies have been selected to participate in the First Annual Todd’s Top Ten. This exciting UVEF event, funded by a generous gift from Todd Pedersen, provides prize money to top-performing Utah Valley student startup companies. In addition to the prize money, Todd Pedersen will pick four companies from among the top ten competitors to provide instant feedback and ask questions. How it Works: 10 businesses are selected to compete (selected from previous Valley competitions). Each business will present a 4X4 pitch – four slides in four minutes — to our attending audience. Attendees and watchers from across the Internet will vote online for a single Top Gun crowd favorite. (The URL will be announced at the event). Prizes will be awarded: Four companies will be selected by Todd Pedersen to receive input and answer questions for five minutes each, on the spot. Nine companies will receive a cash award of $500. The Top Gun crowd favorite company receives a cash award, $4,500. No strings attached, and a one-on-one coaching session with Todd Pedersen! Welcome to the Utah Valley Entrepreneurial Forum. NOTICE: UVEF is currently Accepting Nominations for The Top 25 Under 5 2013! The UVEF Top 25 Under Five Awards have recognized the development of more than 200 individuals and companies, including Utah success stories like ZAGG, Agel Enterprises, Interbank FX, Seastone, Altiris, Omniture, and Xango among many others. Companies throughout Utah, five years old or younger, are invited to apply electronically. Applicants are judged privately based on revenue and job creation. DIGITAL APPLICATION GUIDELINES The Utah Valley Entrepreneurial Forum (UVEF) seeks to recognize the best emerging companies established by entrepreneurs in the state of Utah. The purpose of this event is to promote those companies who may become leaders in their fields in the state, the region and globally. The winners will be selected privately by a panel of the Board of Directors of UVEF. In order to qualify the company must have no revenues prior to January 1, 2008. The Utah Valley Entrepreneurial Forum (UVEF) today announced winners for its 2012 Annual UVEF Awards. UVEF Osmond Tribute Video

The UVEF honored George and Olive Osmond for their incredible contribution to Utah’s economy through both their charitable works as well as their expansive portfolio of entrepreneurial endeavors. George and Olive Osmond were presented with the UVEF Hall of Fame award during our Fall Social event. The event this year was held in the elegant Hinckley Alumni Center at BYU, and featured many of the Osmond Brothers who provided inspirational thoughts and retrospective on their parents’ remarkable successes. Many in attendance were astounded at the reach and scope of The Osmonds entrepreneurial spirit. The stories the Osmond Brothers shared were not only inspirational, but very entertaining. As a special treat, The Osmond brothers Jimmy, Merle and Jay sang a few songs and showed off the remarkable talent that made the family famous.
